  1. Hey There I am new to your site , love it!
I had a raving for chicken fried rice just the other day , I used to order in my 20's in the neighborhood dive bar, it was delicious and you could watch the little Asian couple make it right in front of you, went great with cheap beer.
I would like to say that I wish your husband and you tranquility of spirit as you move forward away from this cyclone called cancer.
    God Bless!

  2. that last picture of fried rice looks so good! Somehow when i make it, it never looks quite like it's supposed to. Lately I've taken to just making stir-fried vegetables and serving them over rice, instead, but I think I'm going to try to follow your instructions next time to see if I get a better result.

Your husbands battle with cancer is so inspiring and so glad that your blog has given you an outlet and some relief from the difficulties you have had - cooking can be a great distraction from the saddest aspects of life. I truly wish you well with your husbands recovery and keep the delicious cooking coming our way! God bless. Lucie x
